Before the first lesson
- Register for Teachworks using the email invitation
- Have an iPad or writing tablet ready, if you can
- Email your tutor the syllabus, current work or upcoming assessments
- Look out for the Lessonspace link six hours before the lesson

Hello and welcome to MYP Math Tutor! In this short video, we’ll guide you through the steps to get started with your child’s first lesson and what to expect during their sessions.
You’ll receive two important emails: one confirming the first lesson’s date and time, and another with a link to register for Teachworks, our scheduling platform.
Teachworks lets you manage your schedule, view upcoming lessons, reschedule or cancel lessons – all in one convenient place.
At the end of each month, you’ll receive an invoice due within 14 days. Payments can be made easily through our secure platform.
Six hours before the lesson, you’ll receive a Lessonspace link. Click the link or access it directly through Teachworks by selecting the scheduled lesson and clicking ‘Join Online Lessonspace.’
Lessonspace is our interactive teaching platform, featuring video, an unlimited whiteboard, and organised tabs for collaborative learning. It’s where your child will learn and grow each week.
For an engaging learning experience, we recommend an iPad or writing tablet like the Wacom One. To help us tailor lessons, email your tutor your child’s syllabus, current work, or upcoming assessments in advance.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, use Teachworks to update the lesson schedule. Changes can be made up to 24 hours before the session.
In the first lesson, the tutor will introduce themselves, review the materials you’ve shared, and begin teaching key topics while setting personalised learning goals for your child.

One invoice a month, payable by card, iDEAL or bank transfer. Lessons are VAT-exempt.

Lessons are taught in English, unless your child and their tutor agree on another language.

No, we only offer online support. We ensure high quality learning can occur by the use of proven teaching strategies by our exceptional team, personalized lessons, and an interactive platform, Lessonspace.
How do I access my lesson?
Log in to our platform, or wait for a reminder email with the link to join.
