How billing works

Pay only for lessons taken
On the 2nd of each month you receive one invoice for the previous month’s lessons, with every session listed.
Easy, secure payment
Pay within 14 days by card, iDEAL or bank transfer through Stripe. Lessons are VAT-exempt.
Cancel with 24 hours’ notice
Cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 24 hours ahead at no charge. Later cancellations are charged as a full lesson.
Stop at any time
Lessons are invoiced monthly. You can pause or stop whenever you need to.

Pricing questions
How much does IB maths tutoring cost?
One-to-one MYP maths tutoring costs €80 per one-hour lesson and one-to-one DP maths tutoring costs €92 per one-hour lesson. Prices as of 1 January 2026.
Do I pay up front?
No. You are invoiced monthly for the lessons your child has had, and you can stop at any time.
How and when do I pay?
An invoice is sent on the 2nd of each month for the previous month’s lessons. It is payable within 14 days by card, iDEAL or bank transfer through Stripe. A late fee applies to invoices paid after the due date.
What happens if we need to cancel a lesson?
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the lesson via Teachworks or by emailing your tutor, and there is no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged as a full lesson.
Is there VAT on top of the price?
No. Our tutoring lessons are VAT-exempt, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Does the free chat cost anything?
No. The free chat is a no-obligation conversation to talk about your child and how we can help. You only pay for lessons.
